  • To determine your budget, you can use online calculators or consult with a financial advisor to figure out how much you can afford to spend on a home
  • Set up your home goals (wants vs needs)
  • Estimate a timeline (when are you planning to buy)
  1. Let’s meet
  • Let’s meet up and discuss your goals and expectations (in person or over a video conference)
  • We’ll set up a plan together to get you to your goal
  1. Choose a mortgage lender and get pre-approved
  • We can refer you to lenders we frequently work with and have successfully competed loan processes or you can use the lender of your choice
  • Have your financial information readily available
  • Discuss your loans options (conventional vs government-backed loan etc.)
  • This will give you an idea of much you can borrow and what interest rate you can expect
  1. Searching for the right home
  • We’ll send you listings of properties that correspond to your desired criteria
  • We’ll tour properties to refine our search for the perfect home
  • You should take note of important features and drawbacks of each property to make an informed decision
  1. Make on offer
  • Once we find a property that you want to become your home, we will submit an offer
  • I will make sure that our offer will be the one that stands out, and that is reasonable and fair
  1. Home appraisal and inspection
  • Appraisals are an essential step for the loan processing
  • Home inspections provide an insight about the property’s condition and features, and identify any issues that need to be addressed before closing on a home
  1. Closing on your new home
  • If the inspection goes well and all parties agree on the terms of the sale, you can proceed to the closing process
  • We will perform a final walk-through to ensure that everything is according to your expectations
  • At this point, you will sign all the paperwork and pay the closing costs
  1. Moving in
  • Once the sale is closed and registered, you will get the keys to your new home and you can take possession of the property and move in
